LCD Display for Miniomotors Electric Scooter -EYE Throttle

If your cable to the controller is with no issue, easy install is to disassemble the display and moved the original wiring harness from the old display and just plug into to the new display rather than disassemble the complete deck and stem side-light.

Models with a fingerprint reader, it’s also just sap the connector… Remove the 4 screws on the back of the ey3 display, then remove the small jumper, then plug in the fingerprint reader accessory and then reassemble.

Dualtron Thunder LCD Display-DT3 DT2 ultra DTX EYE

Since December 2018, all Speedway Model series, The Dualtron II (DT2), and Ultra models have adopted the EYE throttle with a new program. If your scooter utilizes this updated program and features an original LCD displaying battery percentage in % and a green color background, you have the option to enhance your scooter’s performance by ordering and installing the EYE throttle.

To determine compatibility, it’s crucial to ensure that your original scooter has a display with % icon and a blue color background, indicating the presence of the new program. If your scooter lacks these features, the EYE throttle won’t be compatible as the controller differs.

Additionally, when applying the EYE throttle display to other models like DT2, Ultra, and Speedway with a green background color, please note that the Pd function (related to ABS) may not be functional. Models other than DT Thunder and DT3 do not have the ABS program, so the Pd function won’t operate in older scooters.

Upon receiving the new EYE throttle to replace the original one, it’s essential to reset the P value according to your scooter’s parameters, as the settings vary among different models. If you choose to use the EYE throttle, you can also add fingerprint recognition from Minimotors.

Note: While the LCD is original from the Minimotors factory and is compatible with the stated scooter models, it’s important to check the inner setting P value upon receiving it. If the LCD does not function normally, the client should adjust the value based on their scooter model, as the original LCD may have random initial values preset. If there are any doubts upon receipt, feel free to inquire for assistance.

All wheel drive electric mobility Dualtron Product Introduction The Dualtron off road eScooter is a flagship model of Minimotors Co., Ltd. launched on February 2016. Development for the first generation Dualtron lasted 1 year and 6 months. The work doesn’t stop there, however; we are continuously pushing the boundaries and working to innovate and improve on range of odd road mobility products. [Launch of the Dualtron and Market Response] At the end of September 2015, the 1st Dualtron all wheel drive off road scooters were launched with 2 models (MX, EX) carrying different Li-Ion battery capacity. At that time, the maximum speed of prevalent electric scooters were 40km/h with a max distance range of up to 50km.
