We will use any information that we may collect costumers only in accordance with our privacy policy.

Changes to the Terms

eBikescooter e-store reserves the right to change any of the terms for any or no reason. We will provide notice of any material changes and, if you are unhappy with such changes, your sole and exclusive remedy will be to cancel your reservation as described in Section 6 above.

Shipping And Delivery

Free Shipping

We are glad to bring our customers great value and service. That’s why we provide free shipping inside the EU-Union.

Orders > €299,00  from our warehouses in Denmark, Germany, France, Spain or HK.

However, the free shipping is limited to scooters with a shipping weight of less than 25 kg as they must be shipped by special transport as they contain Lithium batteries. Battery pack for scooters for more than 10Ah we also mostly need to ship by UPS dangerous Goods and therefore also exclude for free shipping.

When processing your order we will email you to let you know it’s been received and as soon as we’ve shipped your order, we’ll let you know by email that it has been despatched and you will see the tracking number in the email and your account…

We ship mostly from our EU warehouses in Denmark for EU customers both with tracked postal by PostNord and express by UPS.

Standard Delivery. Delivery from EU warehouse to EU 2-10 days

For UK-Customers. You have already paid for VAT. We whip it with our GB.VAT Number. No extra fee should appear for orders at £135 or below. If more contact us and we can possible ship DDP.

Shipments to UK after Brexit 2021 Read More HERE

For Norway Customers. You have already paid for VAT. We whip it with our NO.VAT Number. No extra fee should appear for orders with a value of less than NOK 3000. If more contact us and we can possible ship DDP.

For Switzerland Customers. Due to customs clearance fee of 24.00 euros, it is expensive to send a tracked package. But we can send non high value orders as a letter both as traceable and non-traceable.

Customs and tax at international sales

When you purchase from our EU stock to all EU-Union countries, orders always include sales VAT and TAX.

IMPORTANT! If not specific requested by contacting ebikescooter sales team  DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) . It’s not Included!  Please notice that ebikescooter are not responsible for any custom fees once the items have shipped. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get custom fees when they arrive in your country.

The customer is the importer. Ebikescooter cannot take responsibility for any products subject to import restrictions. It is the customer’s responsibility for all possible permits for import and concerning the final delivery address.

In the absence of import permission from the customer or other approvals that prevent free movement through customs in the customer’s home country. The customer is liable for any possible withholding in customs and fees for release or return to our warehouse if necessary.

Shipping time varies by location. These are general our estimates. Each product list shows the delivery time in more detail at checkout. It depends on many factors, if a battery is inside, how many Wh/Ah, and the overall size.

Tracking Information

You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order is shipped but sometimes due to free shipping tracking is not available. For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase may be sent in separate packages and we will inform you.

Pre-Orders

These Pre-Order Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the placing of pre-orders (“Pre-Order”) with e-store www.ebikescooter.com (or “we” “ebikescooter”) for our e-scooter, Kickscooters products and other accessories (“Products”). Please read these Terms carefully before submitting your Pre-Order of any eBikescooter e-store Products.

By submitting your Pre-Order, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

 Pre-Order Reservation

When placing a Pre-Order for eBikescooter e-store Products, you will be required to provide certain information, such as your address and billing information. You represent and warrant that all such information is accurate, and you shall ensure that such information is kept current. eBikescooter e-store shall have no responsibility or liability for inaccurate information or information that later becomes outdated, and shall have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. You can update your information at any time prior to your product being shipped by sending an e-mail to sales@ebikescooter.com

You acknowledge and agree that eBikescooter e-store may decline or delay reservations to avoid oversubscription or as it deems appropriate, provided that we will make efforts to inform you within two (2) weeks of our receipt of your Pre-Order, and that you will be entitled to a full refund of the purchase Price.

Payment

You will be charged the full Price of the Products at the time of placing the Pre-Order. If eBikescooter e-store is unable to commence shipping the Products on or before the STATED RELEASE DATE of your Pre-Order, eBikescooter e-store shall process a full refund to you. Your placing of a pre­order constitutes your express agreement to eBikescooter e-store of charging the full Price of the Products at such time.

Priority

eBikescooter e-store will ship products according to the order in which the Pre-Order is received. If you cancel or forfeit your reservation in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, your position will be taken by the next person on the Product reservation list.

Delivery Schedule

Although we will make efforts to begin delivering Products as soon as the release is meet and reasonably practicable, you understand and agree that there may be delays. An estimated time of delivery (ETD) is only an estimate, is subject to change, and eBikescooter e-store does not represent or warrant that it will be able to ship the Product by the estimated date.  As a result, in the event that a delay arises and the estimated shipment and/or release of the product is not met, eBikescooter e-store is not responsible for any damages that may occur due to the delay, nor shall it be obligated, except as set forth in these Terms, to provide any discounts, refunds or credits due to any such delays. We will provide you periodical updates with respect to such delivery schedule. If for any reason you decide that you do not wish to continue to wait for your Product, you may cancel your reservation as provided for in Section 5 below.

Price

The purchase price (“Price”) does not include taxes and other government charges, which are your responsibility. If the Price drops after you have pre-ordered, we will refund you the difference. If the Price goes up, your order is secure at the low Price. The Pre-Order Price is valid from the moment you place the Pre-Order To claim a refund for the difference, email us at sales@ebikescooter.com

Cancellation

You or eBikescooter e-store may cancel this reservation by terminating the Pre-Order at any time for any or no reason before our notice to you that your Product is ready for delivery. If you do so before our notice of delivery, you will obtain a refund deducted a processing fee for the card payment or any currency fee of 3.5- 5% The amount can not exceed 5% of the total purchase.

If eBikescooter e-store cancels your pre-order reservation you will receive a full refund of the full purchase price (and you will not pay any processing fee). Orders cannot be requested canceled after notification of your product is ready for delivery. This is because at this time we have already started customs clearance and paid for shipping and are awaiting collection from our warehouse.

 

Warranty terms eBikescooter e-store

  1. Fee of charge, 2-year warranty for goods sold inside EU ( Rest of world 1. year)
  2. eBikescooter as a seller must repair, replace, reduce the price, or give you a refund if the goods you bought from us turn out to be faulty or do not appear or work as advertised.
  3. The guarantee period starts as soon as you receive your goods. If your goods break within these 2 years, we will always do whatever to provide a quick solution for you

Some Quick Guidance:

  • The product warranty covers any original manufacturing defects
  • If your product breaks within the first 6 months, it is assumed that the problem existed when you received the goods, unless. Therefore, you have the right to a repair or replacement free of charge, or if this turns out to be too difficult or costly, you may be offered a price reduction or your money back.
  • If your product breaks after 6 months, you still have the right to have your goods repaired or replaced for free or, at least, to a price reduction or your money back. However, you may need to prove that the problem existed when you received the goods.
  • Your order invoice serves as your warranty certificate.
  • Different products have different warranty periods. But all sale inside EU/Union is covered by 2 years warranty. For electric scooters and electric bicycle, hoverboards etc. we offer 2 years limited warranty. We offer example a warranty period of one year on the installed battery, If ordered a single battery  Please find more information below regarding what applies to your product.
  • Warranties for our various scooters and e-bikes apply only if all service, maintenance and repair required by the user manual ( if service plan exists) and the service plan are carried out by a workshop and if receipt exists.
  • This limited warranty is void if a product is returned with removed, damaged or tampered labels of any alterations (including the unauthorized removal of any component or external cover). eBikescooter Europe will not provide any warranty coverage unless your claim is in compliance with all terms of this limited warranty statement and you follow proper return procedure
  • Please be aware – any fault caused due to misuse of the vehicle including water damage when drive in wet condition or external damage is not covered by this warranty. Also please carefully read the manual in detail before using your electric scooter to avoid voiding your warranty.

Electric Scooters, electric Kick scooters, Hoverboard etc. Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship of the product arising or occurring as a result of your normal and ordinary use of the product. In the event a defect covered by this Limited Warranty occurs, eBikescooter Europe will repair or replace your product in accordance with the terms of this Limited Warranty. Not covered by warranty

This limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by or

  1. Commercial use, accident, abuse, neglect, shock, heat or humidity beyond product specifications, improper installation, operation, maintenance or modification.
  2. Any misuse contrary to the instructions in the user manual
  3. Malfunctions caused by other equipment
  4. Second hand product, those shopped from via 3rd party sellers
  5. upgrading or another configuration that not take place at eBikescooter or approved workshop
  6. Product, poorly maintained product.
  7. Misuse of the vehicle as driving in wet condition failure or loss caused by accident, neglect, theft, excessive load, transport damage
  8. cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches or any other cause not arising from defects in material or workmanship
  9. Excludes commercial use and professional hire use

consumer protection

Your right to claim non-conformity includes products that are defective according to our applicable consumer protection legislation. Customers who want to claim defects in ordered products must contact us as soon as possible after the defect has been discovered via the contact details on the website. Claims of non-conformity made within two months from the time you discover the defect are always considered to have been filed on time.

 Approving

Once a product has been returned and the non-compliance claim has been approved, we will compensate you under the terms of applicable consumer protection law. Our goal is to do this within 30 days of receiving the non-conformity claim, however it may take longer, depending on the type of product. We reserve the right to deny non-conformity claims if the product is not defective under the terms of the applicable consumer protection legislation.

Repair or replacement

We pay the cost of repairs of approved warranty claims. You should always contact our customer service first if a warranty claim occurs. Our customer service or workshop must be contacted us before performing any repairs. We do not pay the cost of repairs carried out without our approval. If the scooter is not repairable eBikescooter Europe may offer a replacement product after we receive the defective part at our Danish warehouse:  eBikescooter, Rosengaardsstraede 2,4780 Stege,DK.

 Lithium Battery Pack

A  Li-ion battery is a consumable product and subject to a 3 months warranty. To maximize the battery life, it is important to follow the maintenance advice. Do not forget that batteries need to be maintenance-charged if the vehicle is not used regularly or if you drive less than 10 km each time you start it. If the battery capacity falls below 80% during the warranty year, it is a warranty case. Everything above 80% capacity in the first year is within tolerance.

Accessories

Accessories are covered by a two-year warranty.

 Spare part

Spare parts are subject to a one-year warranty, although it does not include wear parts or workshop hours, which are subject to a three-month warranty. The warranty for batteries is three months, except batteries for electric bikes, which are subject to a one-year warranty.

Responsible for inward and return freight (warranty)

  • inside EU-union. eBikescooter Europe will cover the cost of shipment or pickup collection of products into our workshop. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge
  • Outside EU-union The customer are responsible for inward and return freight charges and we simply apply a pickup or delivery on request or an prepaid shipping label though your order account. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge. 
  • Vehicle purchased inside EU-union. eBikescooter Europe will cover the cost of shipment or pickup collection of products into our workshop. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge
  • Vehicle and purchased outside EU-union  The customer are responsible for inward and return freight charges and we simply apply a pickup or delivery on request. Please speak to our customer service team to confirm all shipping costs if you need our assistance for transportation in warranty cases. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge.
  • Lithium battery pack shipped inside EU-Union acces by ground service such as transport by road freight and couriers.  eBikescooter Europe will cover the cost of shipment or pickup collection of products into our workshop. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge
  • Lithium battery pack  shipped to outside of EU-union . The customer are responsible for inward and return freight charges and we simply apply a pickup or delivery on request. Please speak to our customer service team to confirm all shipping costs if you need our assistance for transportation in warranty cases. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge.

Product out of warranty scope:

Repair costs & diagnostic test outside of warranty. Where a product is outside of warranty all inward and return freight charges will be the customers responsibility. All repairs and parts are chargeable. Where the products is not repairable or spare parts are not available and the model is no longer stocked, we will try to find an solution in close dialogue with customer.

Returns & Refund Policy

Order cancellation

If you would like to cancel your order, please log into your account where you just select cancel order, or use the guest order status link HERE. Alternatively contact us immediately via our chat or phone at US (620) 522-0057 or EU +45 93200057. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, big chance it can no longer be cancelled. Especially if sending international. This is due to the fact, that we start make the clearance and pay the TAX and shipping for fast shipping to you.

If your order has been processed or in transit, or has already been delivered, you will need to arrange a return with us. Please see below: 1.2. Returns – Changed Your Mind’.

Exchanges/Returns – Changed Your Mind or ordered the wrong product

If for any reason you would like to exchange your product, perhaps for a different model. You must contact us first and we will guide you through the steps.

If you change your mind after buying from eBikescooter and want a refund, you have up to 30 days to let us know. You will then need to return the product to our Denmark warehouse before we can provide a refund. Our logistic team can help arrange the return with drop-off/pickup. the cost varies greatly from country to country and product, but we will help with the best solution. To initiate a return you need to follow the steps in 1.15 How to process a return request

Kindly note – the 30-day return period is to allow you to examine the goods as you would in a shop. To obtain a full refund, the goods must be returned in an “as new” condition with all components included in their original packaging. “As new” condition is defined as unridden (less than 1km logged on the scooter’s odometer.)

Once your goods are received at the eBikescooter Denmark warehouse, products will be assessed by our warehouse staff. Any missing parts or damage resulting in a reduction in the retail value of the products will result in an equivalent deduction in your refund amount. Please see the information below as an indication of the refund you will receive – but please note the loss in value caused by any excessive use or handling of the product will always be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Lithium battery pack:

Lithium battery pack shipped inside EU-union reachable by road freight. As normal Order cancellation & Exchanges/Returns – Changed Your Mind or ordered wrong product

Defective battery.  which are covered by the limited 1.year warranty conditions, will be undertaken free of charge.  Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge.

Just follow below 1.15 How to process a return request

Lithium battery pack shipped to regions outside of EU-union . Are not entitled for returns/exchange. This is due to the high cost of logistics and lack of options for shipping dangerous goods by air shipping.

Defective battery which is covered by the limited 1. year warranty conditions. Guidance for repair and spare parts as BMS will be undertaken free of charge. Please speak to our customer service. Any shipping of parts needed for the repair which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge. We do not offer you to send the battery to us for repair.

Info: Single Lithium battery packs are being sent and treated as dangerous goods. There are several limitations. So return air freight is not possible overseas. Also almost impossible to send and receive from unpaved islands such as the Canary Islands, Cyprus, Britain Islands, etc. 

 

  • Electric scooters/electric kick-scooters and e-bikes (shipped inside EU-union reachable by road freight):

 Less than 30 days post-delivery

If your electric scooter arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault during normal use (as outlined in the manufacturer’s manual) within 30 days of you receiving it you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.  It is highly recommended that you inspect the product upon delivery for visible damage. all type of e-scooters and e-bikes shipments require that shipping damage is reported within 48 HOURS of the product’s delivery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any damage reported more than 48 HOURS after the product delivery will not be accepted by Ebikescooter for replacement or refund.

Please include your order number, information about the fault, and any pictures/videos that demonstrate the problem. You can also let us know whether you want a refund, repair or replacement in this initial email.

Following an initial phone-based assessment, we will arrange collection/drop off location free of charge, and will arrange for a repair, replacement or refund.
Please note – All returns are assessed by an Ebikescooter Europe representative and the fault must be confirmed before further action can be taken. The assessment process can take up to 3 days. All components must be returned in the original box with your vehicle. See the above pricing for unreturned items. If no fault is confirmed the scooter will be returned to you. We may charge you for returning the scooter in these circumstances.

visually Damage or excessive mileage we will estimate a reasonable current resale value. As an example, a vehicle which has done 2km – 30km has a market value of approximately 80% of the original purchase price.

  • Missing Charger      

A deduction of €29.99 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter

  • Missing Manual     

A deduction of €3.99 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter

  • Missing tools set   

A deduction of €3.99 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter

  • Missing Screws   

A deduction of €1.99 will be made when these are not returned with the scooter

  • Dirt or visible outdoor use    

A deduction of €99 will be made when this is present when returned the scooter

  • Use of tyres                 

A deduction of €29.99 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter

Electric scooters/electric kick-scooters and e-bike – More than 30 days post-delivery (shipped inside EU-union reachable by road freight):

If your scooter develops a fault through normal use (as outlined in the manufacturer’s manual) after the initial 30 days period you may still be entitled to have your scooter repaired at no cost. We will assess the fault via phone, chat or email and a eventually request to customer to send an video inspection to confirm that the scooter we supplied was defective before agreeing to provide a free repair.

Please note – any fault caused due to misuse of the scooter including water ingress or external damage is not covered by this policy. Please ensure your read the manual in detail before using your electric scooter to avoid voiding your warranty.

Other terms for Refunds

Your satisfaction is our number top 1 priority. Therefore, you can request a full refund or reshipment for ordered products if:

  • you do not receive them within the guaranteed time (30 days not including 2-5 day processing)
  • you got delivered the wrong item
  • you do not want the product you have received (but you must return the item at your expense and the item must be unused)

Please notice we do not issue the refund if:

  • your order does not arrive due to factors within your control (e.g., providing the wrong shipping address)
  • your order does not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside our control (e.g. not cleared by customs as the product is not allowed in the customers country , delayed by a natural disaster).
  • Any product for which you have been given special rebate.
  • Any product that does not exhibit the described reason for the return (i.e., a return initiated for a charger product that powers on and charge perfectly upon inspection).
  • Any product which appears tampered with, customized or altered in any way.

Info:

  • Cross-Shipping: We do not cross-ship. Returns products must be received, inspected and approved before we ship a replacement.
  • Refusing Delivery: Refused shipments are treated like regular returns, may be charged a non-refundable 15% -restocking fee.
  • Defective Products: A defective product that is returned may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at eBikescooter’s sole discretion, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Disclaimer: Nothing in this Return Policy limits your rights and remedies under any law.

Refund of your Payments

Once a refund has been approved by the eBikescooter Europe team we will refund your payment to your original payment method (i.e., card, PayPal account etc.) within 14 days. Please be aware that the refund can take up to 5-20 days to appear in your statement depending on who your provider is and which card you used for the payment.

Returns/Restocking Fees

Returns are subject to restocking fees of 15% of the purchase price. eBikescooter may assess the restocking fee against the customer’s account or deduct the fee from the refund amount on all returns, subject to the Return Policy and any product-specific policy.

eBikescooter does not charge for restocking fees for returns of defective products, or if you received the wrong product, products damaged during shipment, or if the product did not match what was shown on the Site, provided the item is returned within its return policy period, and in accordance with the Return Policy.

In the event a product is returned that is not defective or an incorrect product or where the product does match what was shown on the Site, the product will either be returned to the customer or the return shipping cost initially covered by eBikescooter will instead be deducted from the refund amount along with any necessary restocking fee that may apply.

Packages For Returns

The return must be properly packaged to protect against damage in transit. Please note that any damage caused by mishandling, improper installation or product defacement will result in your return being denied and the product being returned to you.

The customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to eBikescooter. The customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. The customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the returned product during shipment.

The customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-sealable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing, eBikescooter’s Return Procedure will be breached and  may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing component(s). eBikescooter will not refund the original shipping charges to the Customer. In addition, eBikescooter may assess a 15% restocking fee against the Customer’s account or deduct the fee from the refund amount on all returns, subject to the Return Policy and any prodeuct-specific policy. eBikescooter reserves the right to adjust the value of any item returned for refund to reflect its current market price, in which case the 15% restocking fee will be applied after this adjustment.

Return Shipping Labels

For products that are eligible for return, the customer are responsible for inward and return freight charges and we simply apply a pickup or delivery on request. A prepaid shipping label requested. The shipping cost related to your return will be deducted from the total refund amount before the refund is complete.

Return Processing Time

Please allow 7-10 business days for your return to process after being received. Due to item availability, some repair/replacement returns may be delayed or changed to refund. Once your return has been processed, we will send you an email regarding your return.

Refunds funds

Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method. Once your return has been processed, please allow 3-5 business days for your refund to post to your account. If the original payment method is no longer available, eBikescooter will inform by email.  eBikescooter will issue you a refund in the form of store credit.

Store Credit

For returns for store credit, eBikescooter will issue you store credit in the form of a eBikescooter Store Credit Gift Card. Once your return has been processed, a eBikescooter Store Credit will be issued and deposit to your account where you always can see the balance. Log into your account HERE

Replacements

For products that are eligible for return for replacement, the product may only be returned for a replacement of the same type item. We do not allow exchanges or returns for replacements for different items. If you would like to receive a different item, you would need to return the original item for a refund, in accordance with the Return Policy and then purchase the item you would like to receive instead of the original item. If eBikescooter no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, eBikescooter will issue you a refund. Once your return has been processed, a replacement will be processed and shipped within approximately 1 -2 business days.

Responsible for return shipping costs under a warranty claim

  • inside EU-union. eBikescooter Europe will cover the cost of shipment or pickup collection of products into our workshop. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge
  • Outside EU-union The customer are responsible for inward and return freight charges and we simply apply a pickup or delivery on request or an prepaid shipping label though your order account. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge.
  • Vehicle purchased inside EU-union. eBikescooter Europe will cover the cost of shipment or pickup collection of products into our workshop. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge
  • Vehicle and purchased outside EU-union  The customer are responsible for inward and return freight charges and we simply apply a pickup or delivery on request. Please speak to our customer service team to confirm all shipping costs if you need our assistance for transportation in warranty cases. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge.
  • Lithium battery pack shipped inside EU-Union acces by ground service such as transport by road freight and couriers.  eBikescooter Europe will cover the cost of shipment or pickup collection of products into our workshop. Any repairs which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge
  • Lithium battery pack  shipped to outside of EU-union . The customer are responsible for inward and return freight charges and we simply apply a pickup or delivery on request. Guidance for repair and spare parts as BMS will be undertaken free of charge. Please speak to our customer service. Any shipping of parts needed for the repair which are covered by the warranty conditions above will be undertaken free of charge. We do not offer you to send the battery to us for repair. 

How to process a return request

Product Return Procedures

To return a product to eBikescooter, you must obtain an RMA number within the applicable return period for the product. eBikescooter will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 5 days within which time returned products must be shipped by Customer. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customer must prominently display the RMA number(s) *  on the shipping label as well as the RMA invoice on the box(es) containing the returned product.

  1. Find the invoice in your email regarding the product you need to arrange an return request.
  2. Your order number can be found at your invoice or in any of the emails we sent you about your order.

  4. Check all of the items you want to return, provide a reason for returning each one and hit “Submit Return.”
  5. Once you submit your return, we’ll respond inside 3 days and get back to you by email with an RMA#.
